In this interview, journalist Kath Sansom and founder of the "Sling the Mesh," shares her personal experiences with mesh implants. Although it was described to her as a simple day procedure for incontinence, it resulted in long-lasting complications and two subsequent surgeries for removal of the mesh.

Kath is a passionate advocate for women to try conservative treatment options (such as women's health physical therapy) FIRST, before surgery. She also advocates for general pelvic health education to start in the school system.
